Maintenance: Some SMS services are offline...
Twitter is undergoing maintenance on its SMS services. Some SMS features will be unavailable during this time: Users wont be able to tweet via SMS, change SMS settings, or add an SMS device.
The outage is expected to be a few of hours. We will update when services are back online.
Update: The maintenance is now complete. All services are back online
Timelines Delayed
We are experiencing some problems where you may find Tweets delayed in your home timeline. We’re working on getting them up-to-date.
Update: This issue has been resolved and tweet delivery should be back to normal
Intermittent access to some features
Some people may experience problems performing actions on twitter.com and Twitter clients. (e.g., Tweeting, Retweeting, etc.) We are aware of the problem and are taking action.
Update: This issue is resolved, access to all features for all users is restored
Slow searches
Twitter search servers are responding slowly, which causes some queries to fail. Engineers are working on the issue.

Some accounts not receiving emails
Some accounts are not receiving certain email notifications (like direct message emails). We’re working on it and will update again once they’re back.

"Add your location" temporarily disabled on web.
We’ve temporarily shut off the “Add your location” function on web browsers; we’ll update again once it’s back on.
Temporary Account Maintenance
Beginning around 10:30am PST this morning we will be conducting maintenance on Twitter which will affect account creation and modification. During the maintenance it will not be possible to create a new Twitter account or modify the settings on any existing accounts.
