We are experiencing intermittent errors on certain user actions. Some users may see the error message “Your account may not be allowed to perform this action. Try logging out and in again.” We are working to fix this.
UPDATE: Issue has been resolved. If you are still seeing the error message, refresh the page.
The follow button widget is currently off line, and will return to service when maintenance is complete.
Update: The Follow Button is online. Users interacting with the Follow Button who aren’t signed in to twitter will be directed to the button user’s profile on twitter.com.
Update June 25 9:45am PT: This issue is fully resolved and the Follow Button is now operating normally.
